UlsterCountySnowZ
Please explain Due to the sharp cutoff of the rain/ snow line, it's currently snowing at my house in new windsor with sleet mixed... And I'm about 5-10 miles south at work... Where it's still all rain...hoping the changeover happens soon.. The fact that I'm at around 860ft should help too

SnowGoose69
Cold air may be working in faster but the HRRR which has a good handle on the current precip shield suggests it may all end by 08-09Z even at the coast, thats a few hours earlier than alot of the global models suggested with some showing end times as late as 13-14Z. Is yours in a shelter & what type of thermometer do you have? Quality instruments and exposure to the elements would make the difference in readings.
