ThePhotoGuy
does anyone on this Board really rely on the LWX forecast? Actually I do. I also need to be warned by a watch, advisory, or warning so I know when bad weather is coming.
lsukev
it's perhaps the stupidest map on the internet. they need to fix it.
stormtracker
problem is the timing...it comes in a tad later...so people might leave their houses at 6 am and then be bombed on the way yeah, the timing is terrible for decision makers. Commute-ageddon II?
snow.
yeah, the timing is terrible for decision makers. Commute-ageddon II? The public generally doesn't take advisories too seriously...probably a nightmare commute
Don Cherry's Jacket
yeah, the timing is terrible for decision makers. Commute-ageddon II? I'm trying to remember when it was (99?) where they closed the government half way through the morning rush. I remember watching 90% of a metro car get out and walk to the other side of the platform to get the train home.

DDweatherman
Good news is as HM mentioned earlier, I don't see much reason to expect a ton of subsidence. What this means is even if the superband develops in Location A, Location B won't see drying out of its precip and should maintain solid SN. Also, expect the band to penetrate most areas if it does start NW as it moves out.
Heisy
I think this will be a great storm for DC, central DE, up into S/C NJ...Nam usually sets up the heaviest precip too far NW. Whoever gets in on this mesoscale band that is being modeled could get 6-9" IMO.
