MacChump
Dude, you may think you are responding to the Philly Defense Brigade bat signal here, but you don't really need to post in this sub-forum. Head back to your thread or outside forum or whatever it is the Philly weenies are doing these days.oh phin, relax
blueapple
RGEM looks pretty good. Huge step away from its sucky 18z run Good rates too... looks like almost all of it comes 12z to 15z

mitchnick
Just go with it Randy... I am and if you look at the 36 hr panel on the RGEM, it brings the cold air in quicker so it's all snow verbatim and we end up with the same or more than the NAM with the higher qpf

PhineasC
Feeling pretty good about this one. Dr. No wasn't exactly his usual self with this current storm. I think some of the luster has come off his hubcaps but certainly still the best all-around model.

It's going to show it, but we know the euro doesn't swing wildly..it will probably paint 0.15" of snow and everyone will be inconsolable.... Euro was always slow to the party in 09/10 while RGEM and sorta NAM were on top of their game. I think this NINO-type hybrid pattern has the Euro doing studder-steps. Yeah, well 09-10 was the ultimate anomaly. Even the CRAS got one right.

I guess what I'm alluding to is that the Euro "seems" to do better with a northern stream dominated winter.

yoda
At least we can take solace until Dr. No reaches its verdict in ~90 mins that 00z NAM/GFS/RGEM and 21z SREFs support the IDEA of a 2-4" snowfall Tuesday
mitchnick
Plus it sucked with today's storm. it wasn't too bad down here, but it missed the intensity of the super band, that's pretty clear NAM was the first to show a super band with that finger of moisture the other day and then RGEM had it the best of all last night but was a hair too far north with it
