Damage In Tolland
Still a good chance this starts as sleet or zr. Don't count on it starting as snow
CoastalWx
Final thoughts, do you think we hit an inch here in TAN? I would go under and hope for luck.
CT Rain
Still a good chance this starts as sleet or zr. Don't count on it starting as snow It probably will but I expect some ugly snow grains - my rule of thumb is that when it looks that dry upstairs always go under model QPF. Could make the icy glaze that much more unpleasant for AM commute though.

CoastalWx
Does it really matter when any snow amounts are so small? LOL. Ryan is right. Dry upstairs. Need some atmospheric KY to lube it up. The WAA will help, but it might be more relegated to south coast. There may be minor OES bands later too.

moneypitmike
Is the driver of the accumulation doubts tied to total qpf or fear that whatever does come won't be snow? What do folks anticipate the total qpf will be? 24.2/
CoastalWx
You think there will be accumulating snow Meh some here and there. I haven't looked at much more than model QPF. I'm mobile. Maybe an inch or two in lucky spots? I already said nrn CT might be screwed of the gfs is right. Who really cares if 0.5" falls or 1.5" falls? CT Rain
More bad reading comprehension. More like cherry picking and misconstruing! Not realy much to look at... things going as planned. If anything 00z soundings are drier aloft than 18z NAM/GFS showed.

He is a really good guy. During the storm conference in 93 he came to the Lyndon State College party and I was able to talk with him for a bit. Dan
amazing how a famous met can turn a life around. Unfortunately in the end I switched my major from Meteorology to Computer Science. However, I never lost my love for weather and in the end ended up working at WSI anyway, which is where I wanted to end up in college. So it all worked out in the end, just doing something a little different.
