Even down here near the shoreline and back to SW CT where NAM/GFS are spitting out a bit of QPF before 850's torch...I have trouble envisioning this being much more than glorified flurries/snow grains which put down a light dusting before mixing. Maybe somewhere like Shelton eeks out an inch as some of mentioned and perhaps even gets a quick burst where visibilities come down to 1sm...but mark me down in the lowered expectations camp.

snow in these parts has been brutal today

honestly, < 30 minutes from me has received 4"and I have a coating with pingers mixed in, which is finally all snow and steady but light

it doesn't matter because by tomorrow this time even those w/4" should have little if anything left unless they stay below freezing

it's a tough hobby

The visible sat shot should look great on Tuesday. Snow otg up to NYC with a big black area over most of New Eng

It may not last the warm sector tomorrow down there...though if they have some spots getting 5-8" of snow that should stick around.

But ya gotta give yourself a break, it'll snow, it's still early in the season. Bring back the optimistic Blizz. You may tickle an inch and some glaze, that's a nice wintery appeal. It doesn't take much this time of year.
