Eskimo Joe
Back end snow band has great flakes. Even down here in DC area...definitely capable of a quick inch if you are in S-Central PA.
AlexP
Weird storm. Looks like everyone got either more or less than what was forecast. Trying not to get my hopes up for the last band coming in from the west.
canderson
4.25 here with moderate snow falling. Snow is powder and adding up faster. Awesome!
canderson
You should get to 5" if that band holds together coming in from the west. Hell, that might even get poor Harrisburg. Hey don't kick us when we're down.
I-83 BLIZZARD
Getting heavy now. Ratios much higher along with rates. I think 5 is a lock, but if it keeps up like this 6 could be possible. The snow is really fine almost pixie dust. The Sunday snow was pure powder and it is almost that fine again after being wetter in the early am. CarlislePaWx
Yes, we have picked up here in Carlisle too! We've gone from a few flurries to light snow that isn't accumulating because the temperature is now at 32.4. The total for this event now standing at < 0.1". GrandmasterB
Probably near 4" here now. As mentioned, it's a fine powder. Very nice looking outside!!
PennMan
I'm up in Towanda for work and it is really snowing nicely here, wasn't really expecting that. Whenever this event winds down, someone can go ahead and create a new thread as we are well over 1000 posts.
NortheastPAWx
I'll get the new thread up this evening; been a while since I've made one lol.

CarlislePaWx
Well, surprise, I do have accumulating snow now on my snowboard at least. Almost moderate snow and 0.2" of accumulation. Temp holding steady at 32.4. In all seriousness, I did want to congratulate those down in the southern counties on their double victory. By the reports it looks like some have recorded a foot of snow in just 3 days. That's pretty darn impressive, especially for so early in the season. Like some have said, it all eventually averages out.
PennMan
Picked up a quick .4-.5" in Towanda, enough to whiten things up nicely.
paweather
12z GFS is looking good for the weekend. Might turn to rain/mix down here but should get some decent snow first.
Cashtown_Coop
3.0" for Ca$htown. Snow lasted exactly 6 hours.

NeffsvilleWx
All done in Harrisburg it appears. I measured .2" on a wooden bench on our roof. Hope that's enough to close PSU Harrisburg. It was enough to close Middletown Area School District.

A patch of grass across the street has a few flakes in one spot under a tree; I'm sure it's a lock.

daxx
We have a nice snowpack down here. Should help for some cold morning low temps this week.
I-83 BLIZZARD
5.75 and steady light snow. We should finish with around 6, on top of an existing 5 inch snow pack caked in ice. Looks like the tundra out here. Elevation really helps out with these events down here.

I-83 BLIZZARD
A few more. Hopefully we can have a widespread event so our brothers to the north can share in the fun soon! It has been a crappy two wintners for us all.

I-83 BLIZZARD
Lol they already are anyway!! Yeah. They would murder me for sure. I feel bad, but I used to live in the city of Baltimore so I understand their pain. Sad part is the conditions are the same 5 miles down the road from here which is officially in the mid atlantic forum proper! North Harford, Baltimore, and Caroll look about the same. The cities got screwed and the north was screwed. We need a region wide KU soon.

Even though our climo is more MA than CPA, several of us have caught **** for posting there. Screw em, I'll stick to this subforum. You guys are more friendly anyway.
