Voyager
Looking at various radars, there doesn't seem to be much of an eastward push to that rain/snow line. It appears to be almost stationary.
Mallow
I'm a little worried that if the precip lightens up too much, we might go back to plain sleet. Maybe not, but I could see it happening.

Mallow
Nice slick coating of (mostly) sleet on everything now. Maybe 1/4" of accumulation. Looks like the dry slot is filling in, and if anything it looks like a band might be trying to set up in line with State College?
JamieOber
That dry slot is going to miss at least.

I think it should go over to snow pretty soon, actually. Like over the next hour both of us should be snow and no looking back.

heavy_wx
Decent looking 700 mb frontogenesis currently over southern Ohio based on the SPC mesoanalysis. As it moves towards the northeast that should support at least some enhancement of precipitation rates over central PA.

heavy_wx
It should also, more importantly, support cooling at that level. Yes and there is also some weaker frontogenesis between 700 and 850 mb where there may still be some air above freezing. However, the sleet/snow line is looking pretty well defined on CC and it is pushing generally westward. Hopefully ptype won't be much of a concern within the next hour.
