Mallow
Sounding the pinger alert down here with this new batch of heavier precip that is just arriving at State College. Rain with some pellets mixing in. Yep, definitely a little more sleet mixing in with this batch.

Santa Clause
Final Call: State College: 3 to 5 Williamsport: 2 to 3 Altoona: 2 to 4 Johnstown: 2 to 5 Harrisburg: 1 inch

jm1220
Final Call: State College: 3 to 5 Williamsport: 2 to 3 Altoona: 2 to 4 Johnstown: 2 to 5 Harrisburg: 1 inch Sounds about right. I'd go maybe a bit higher with 4-7" across the board for JST, AOO, UNV, and IPT, with more like 2-5" for Lewistown, Selinsgrove, and Huntingdon. Harrisburg could make it with 1-2" (maybe 3" if the cold trend really wins out, there could still be some surprises). From Dubois on north, I'd go 2-5" given trends today toward a colder and more suppressed system.
MAG5035
Unfortunately I have to work til later this eve and i'm not gonna get a chance to crank out a snow map so I'm going to lay out some ranges for some select places. Going a little further southeast than NWS with measurable, Euro and GFS get some pretty decent totals all the way to Harrisburg. Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Altoona, State College, Williamsport,: 4-7 inches (chance of some higher totals just NW of this line) Bedford, Huntingdon, Lewistown, Selinsgrove, Scranton-WB: 2-4 inches (some local 5" totals possible) Carisle, Harrisburg: 1-2 inches (will have to watch progression of rain/snow line) York, Lancaster: up to but generally less than an inch. Mallow
Almost all sleet here now in State College....I think within an hour we will be all snow. Not sure I'd call it almost all sleet. Still a rain/sleet mix. I think all snow is more like an hour and a half to two hours away yet.
clarks green snow
Some sleet in the initial batch up here in Clarks Green/Waverly. We have over-performed this year and I hope for 6-8 if we can change over quicker than expected. Hopefully 1530' helps! 34.5 currently with light rain and the frequent ping. Careful with that assumption, the warm layer at 750-800mb can be mighty tough to break through. I've seen it many times both up there and here at home. Mallow
Snowing in Clearfield now. Hi-Res NAM would suggest snow in State College within the next hour, but that's partially dependent on precip intensity. So I'm still liking 6-7 PM.

And they don't plot 800mb, which is probably +1C (but falling), hence the rain/sleet mix instead of a rain/snow mix.
