clueless
Bufkit is updated on the NAM run. Shows virtually no sleet for my area. We flip straight from accumulating snow to freezing rain. Is that not unusual ?

Bob Chill
Nice stripe through the area through 66. Not as expansive as 18z but good precip where it counts near the cities. ETA: Colder at 850 too. -3 contour further south.

WVclimo
It's another solid run for dc/bwi/nova. Cutoff to the N is brutal. Light snows here on the GFS, but our QPF comes with the FZRA later. Probably the worst case, but it will continue to fluctuate for another 48 hours.
Bob Chill
Interesting. Solid snow up front. Changover sometime between 18z - 0z (prob closer to 18z). Then a lull in precip before a good bit of zr. Definitely warning criteria event all of dc metro and southern burbs of balt verbatim. Good times! Bob Chill
It's a very impressive run for snow. That's for sure. I'm surprised. Solid .25-.5 all snow through nova - dc burbs before things get pingy.
wxmeddler
5-7" metro area wide mostly due to the front end thump from the raw output, I want to see what BUFKIT files say in case it's mixing sleet in those totals.
