Little to no snowcover in most of the north country (outside Lake Belts) and we WANT a snowcover to be laid down, as it will only help our cause in the near future. Is bare ground going to stop an arctic blast? No (see a few weeks ago as an example), but snowpack certainly helps the cause and magnitude. I still have a couple inches in the shade here from our lake enhanced events and the snow piles are frozen solid. We lost a ton of snow this weekend.
