I am semi-bummed that we finally get some snow on the ground in SE MI, yet have a warm-up/torch/thaw incoming. it will be 1 maybe 2 day thaw, and we have snow still coming Monday night, I don't think the entire snow pack goes away. Hoosier
I'm hoping that we somehow make it past the warmup with more than parking lot piles remaining but not holding my breath. Anyhow, can't really complain even if I don't see another flake this month.
Jonger
Friday south of Alpena to Madison is complaint worthy. Everybody is tracking snow that has a 5 day shelf life.

wisconsinwx
1 day won't vaporize the entire snow pack, it is going to be 40-45 not 60-65... Agree, and there are some ensembles that have shifted south enough to keep many of us below 40F the whole period.

Northern_IN_Wx
Tough to complain given the snowy start to winter....but...disappointed in likelihood of rain/ice/snow melt right before Christmas.
IWXwx
Tough to complain given the snowy start to winter....but...disappointed in likelihood of rain/ice/snow melt right before Christmas. This. A 5-6" snowpack with almost daily fresheners is very nice. However, it will be a double kick in the nads if a Euro type solution results in a washout with 33° and rain while a few counties to the north and northwest are getting buried/crushed by epic snows. EDIT: This doesn't count as a meltdown since I posted it in this thread.
