Atlanta is running 3.4 above normal for the month and with some huge departures above normal the next week, that will only increase. This will mark the third straight warm December. It's not the warmest December so far, since I started keeping records in '08. As a matter of fact, only '09 and '10 were colder, all the rest of the years, December was warmer. The -EPO is probably only going to give us a repeat of November with transient shots of cold air. Anyway enjoying the record warmth for the next few days. Anyway enjoying the record warmth for the next few days. well the indices change day to day so they'll support what we're seeing changing on the models if you stare at them long enough and refresh the image daily.
