Cold Rain
I really expected Duke to have better success on offense. I thought they would lose (I mean, FSU is the real deal), but I didn't expect them to get shut out. There needs to be a 16 team tournament for the championship. I wouldn't mind 16, like the other divisions do, but I think there really is only 4 teams a year in football that have a legit shot every year. There is not a lot of parity now like there is with basketball.

Shawn
well my gamecocks screwed themsevles this year.. losing to GA and especially TN. EW i think auburn will take it all this year.. that #21 mason dude is a monster.. over 300 yards rushing against mizzou today.. himself.. when they haven't even allowed close to that against entire teams all season. FL state might have that rookie QB, but they won't stop that run of auburn. hopefully it wont be a boring game like notre dame vs alabama was. haha hilariously horrid game last year. big issue i have with these other teams is they basically face no defense all season and then put up video game numbers againt weak teams. put these guys up against SEC calibur defenses and watch things change drastically in the BCS. broken system imo. we will prob see yet anoter SEC n. champ game win this year.. along with all the sec vs blah games being won by the sec. never ending circle. one thing i did learn this season. UCF is a legit deal.

Cold Rain
The highest temp for the next 7 days I'd 56 (tomorrow). What happened to all the warmth that was supposed to envelop the east and SE and ruin December? We're working on our 3rd little event, with potentially another in a week or so. What a fail of a winter so far....or not?

After being here a couple years its so annoying to watch people call whole seasons off because of a couple of model trends.

After being here a couple years its so annoying to watch people call whole seasons off because of a couple of model trends. Have to agree. I think most people are looking at the teleconnections to much. We are in a pattern that has a lot of things working for us. Like CR said after a very dry Fall we are really cranking in on the rain totals know seeing some 10 inches in the last couple of weeks. I really like were the Euro is going. We did get some beneficial rain last night. Yeah, last week really put us way above normal for the first week of Dec. We got some work to do to get the average back down. The pattern doesn't really show a torch.... so we might be able to make up for lost time (if the SE ridge stays at bay)

oconeexman
Who played good defense in the sec this year?Funny how that's all we've heard over the last 5 years...the sec plays defense...now its nobody can stop the high powered offenses.Bama had the "best" defense in the sec and look at their 2 games against a&m and all barn. I may be wrong but FSU has a better defense than anyone in the sec...and I believe our offense can score at will! Maybe it will snow here while I'm in Pasadena...good mojo! Thanks, you're telling me - every time I saw we had a legit threat and I had to study for an exam it drove me crazy. Watch whatever the models are doing that are making people winter cancel (the 80 degree warm up the other day?) will turn around and we'll have a blockbuster January!
