Cooling from the snowpack ftw.  I still have some but probably not enough to have helped cool things off that much

sure, but our heat pump had a hard time keeping it at 68... in fact, it was only 66 in the house when we woke up. sooo, yeah.

Amazing temp gradient in any event, I have some snowpack, mostly from last Sunday still, but it was 28 at my house this morning when I got in the car. That right there will tell the story of tomorrow I suspect.

for starters, I'm at 720' in elevation, so its always going to be colder at my house than yours. And yes, obviously the snow pack plays a part. But you are in the city, so take that into consideration too.

I wasn't complaining for the record. Why the defensive post in response to my observation about the temp gradiant? I know my climo.

Good lord. I guess I should stop posting at all at this point.

Midnight low temp. Cold snap bust.

Low of 19F last night, at 3am.  Steadily rose from there even though I'd guess we decoupled and I have 3" of snowpack on the ground.  MOS low temps have been way too high the last 3 nights.  Daytime highs have been good though.
