Jim Marusak
the app? and on what operating system? on windows 8, The Weather channel's win 8 app actually is pretty good at radar display and integrating the blog products. Obs, it all depends on the area, as I think they shade a bit more off the noaa airport wire. as for Weatherbug's Win 8 app, the analysis products are actually quite good with their observing network. But the forecasts are rather model-ish at best, blog entries accompanying the headlines are so-so (but not in the same league with TWC or AW). And last I checked, if you wanted to look at the broader scale analysis around your area, the isobars seemed ok, except the for the fact that while they had a zoom-in button to take a closer look at things, their programmers forgot to put in a button to zoom back out (which I hope they fixed by now).
