...SNOW SQUALLS WILL EFFECT NORTHERN NEW YORK INTO CENTRAL AND

NORTHERN CHAMPLAIN VALLEY THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

RADAR AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS SHOW AN AREA OF SNOW SQUALLS ACROSS

SAINT LAWRENCE COUNTY AND PORTIONS OF THE WESTERN ADIRONDACKS IN

NORTHERN YORK. THESE SNOW SQUALLS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING 2

INCHES OF SNOW IN ONE HOUR AND VISIBILITIES BELOW ONE QUARTER OF A

MILE.

THE SNOW SQUALLS WERE GENERALLY MOVING EAST AT 30 TO 40 MPH AND WILL

BE INTO THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL CHAMPLAIN VALLEY BY 5 PM THIS

EVENING.
