CoastalWx's Countdown to 60,000

It's Always Sunny

Recommended Posts

CoastalWx is approaching something that nobody has ever seen before, or may ever see again.

60,000 posts.

Yes, you read that right, 60,000 posts. I for one can't grasp the enormity of such a number, for it is too vast for the human mind to comprehend . Mind boggling.

CoastalWx is not only a man among boys, an Ambassador, a Legend, and an overshooting top, he is the King of the Weenie Board.

To be the King of the Weenie Board, you need self sacrifice and dedication, even if it involves a young infant child spitting up on you while you attempt to answer the inquiry of an amateur weenie. That right there, is the epitome of self sacrifice and dedication my friends. You should not feel bad about the young infant child spitting up, but rather the amount of shirts lost during such times.

I want to commemorate CoastalWx for providing excellent insight and knowledge to the board, where I know it is easy to say that he has made many of us more educated and knowledgeable of the wide world of meteorology, and for that, I want to thank you, minus that d*ck comment you made about me, but it's all in good fun (at least that's what I'd like to think ^_^ ).

Congrats CoastalWx.

All Hail Thy King!

45,000 of these posts are in direct response to something Tolland Tornado says.

10,000 are about the potential pattern in December.

When you break down the numbers he's right in the average.

Personally I don't like the post counter thingie.

If you posted for the whole year instead of November through the NFL playoffs you would have a similar count

Any tuna fishing lately?

I think Scooter left the board when he saw this thread

Bill Hovey signed off too.

My post count is steadily dropping.   Seems like the same things are said day after day, debate after debate.  The pattern may be favorable or maybe not here are the reasons why.....not ripping, I just have nothing to add and can stick my head out the window to make the same determination or look at the models myself.

I just sit back and read about the damage in Tolland and the upslope in the Green Mountains.

I'd rather have 59,000 CWx posts that add some insight than a lot of the other chaff that gets in with the wheat.

Well while you are mowing your yard daily on the tractor, the posts to counter weenies have a lot of insight. Unfortunately summer posts are usually comprosed of proving Kevin wrong lol.

Thanks George...I think lol. Look, I enjoy talking weather. What can I say. It's my passion and what I love to do. Some people sit there and tweet/retweet hundreds of dumb things, but I prefer talking wx. I treat this as a learning experience and a tool to teach others as well. I've made some good friends on here, even I they try to turn around my realism for crabbiness. Winter is here, sit back and enjoy.

You're most welcome lol. I was keeping my fingers crossed you'd get a laugh out of it, all in good fun, no harm intended.

Scooter is one of the best around. It's nice to see someone actually have the patience to respond to all the garbage without losing their cool (like me, for example). He knows his stuff.

Especially when some knock his forecasts and then take his words completely out of context when he inevitably ends up being right, on the few occasions he's wrong though, they never let him live it down. As you said, endless patience (well almost).
