DVN and Cedar Rapids down to -11 now.  -7 here, which is now the coldest of the season.

Clarinda IA down to -22 now.  HRRR has been showing the area between Des Moines and Ottumwa as being the coldest by daybreak.  Oskaloosa has been as low as -14 recently.  They may have a legit shot at -25 later tonight when the wind drops down to calm there.

Do you use a block heater?  My van has one and it works fantastic...  Leave it plugged in for a few hours and bam,,, starts like nothing and you can actually turn the heater on soon after and get useable heat.

State lows so far...

Sparta, WI -23F

Clarinda, IA -22F

Cook, MN -32F

Savanna, IL -17F

Hey Nicky!  cleared out here so got lots colder.  a rare sunny December morning. too cold to go outside so took this from my living room.

depth ranges from 22-25"

still think areas outside the watch from you to my area will see 5-10" by late Christmas night.
