since some of you seem to be picture guys...there is nice picture available in the eastern sky tonight...at least in the Chicago area...I think it's Venus (if someone knows, feel free to correct me) right next to a fairly full moon...tried snapping some shots, but my camera is sub-par....just a thought for some of you that like that stuff....the skies are pretty clear with the exception of some jet trails....cheers

Snow taking a beating today. 7" snow depth this AM down to 5" roughly

Warmer than predicted IMBY ... near 40 now = bad for snow!!

It's toast by Monday anyhow, I don't even concern myself with the details, snow can't survive 2 inches of rain and 38 degrees.

Jumped quickly to 44°, then leveled out for the past 3 hours as a stratus deck moved in.

It hasn't slowed down the melting, icicles falling off of the houses, the incessant drip, drip, drip. AHHhhh! Make it stop!!

lol

That's what it felt like to me on Tuesday, and the high was only 33F lol, can't imagine the disappointment of it getting into the 40s and knowing the snow cover will be long gone.
