Mounds of ice staked on the shore. There was "icebergs" floating further out in the lake.

Sometimes even the little snow patterns on the ground are fascinating to look at.

This report, and remaining snow falling will have Gaylord 70+" for the season already.

I'm at 54"

AFTERNOON MESO-LOW HAS EXITED OUR CWA...ONLY TO BE REPLACED BY
ANOTHER MESO-LOW THAT DROPPED SOUTH OUT OF LAKE SUPERIOR AND INTO
FAR NRN LAKE MICHIGAN OVER THE PAST FEW HOURS. THIS LOW IS IN THE
VCNTY OF LITTLE TRAVERSE BAY ATTM...AND WILL LIKELY CONTINUE
SOUTHWARD THRU THE REST OF NW LWR MICHIGAN OVER THE NEXT FEW
HOURS. THIS LOW WILL REINFORCE SHARP LOW LEVEL CONVERGENCE THAT
BROUGHT SOME LOCATIONS OF NW LWR MICHIGAN HEAVY SNOW THIS
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING (WE HAVE RECEIVED AROUND 10 INCHES OF
NEW SNOW AT THE OFFICE DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING!).

STILL NOT OUT OF THE WOODS JUST YET AS PORTIONS OF NW LWR MICHIGAN
WILL SEE ANOTHER QUICK BOUT OF HEAVY SNOW OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF
HOURS AS THIS FEATURES MOVES THRU. WILL CERTAINLY KEEP ALL
HEADLINES IN TACT...AND WILL CLOSELY WATCH THE TIMING OF THE MESO-
LOW AND SNOWFALL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY AS THIS FEATURE MOVES
THRU. WILL LIKELY NEED TO MAKE ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ADJUSTMENTS
BASED ON SHORT TERM RADAR TRENDS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.

Real nice snowfall coming down right now.  Nice sized dendrites floating on down.  Man I wish this could last all night.  That's what she said.  :snowman:

:lmao:

Looks like you're pushing 20 dbz now. Might even manage to snow at RFD and DKB.

Very nice squall pounding on parts of the west end of Toronto.

Yeah i got a nice piece of both the squalls that went through.

0.5cm (0.2") in total. Driveways and sidewalks covered. Covered up the mountains and made it look nice and clean again. Picture perfect scene.

Snow has pretty much wound down.  Measured 1.5" of snow, probably around the order of 20:1.  This brings us to a little over 7" for the month, and a little over 8" for the season.  There's about 5" on the ground now, which is pretty impressive considering the lack of moderate to heavy single falls of snow.  Our heaviest single snowfall event is just 2.2", but the very cold conditions combined with numerous light events has built up a decent snowpack.

Keep it coming, we need these lake levels to keep rising. The more the North gets the better off we are.

1.5" of pure fluff here overnight. 2.0" measured from a CoCoRaHS observer on the west side. Not bad for a 30% pops forecast. Overachiever. A few other reports with a lolli of 2.5" south of here.
