Jonger
despite no advisories here, I've had very persistent snow, some heavy. this is the top of a small shed in my backyard. 3-5" thru tonight still expected. 12-12-13.JPG Wow you had a bid move! I love the are you moved to congrats! I have relatives near Touch Lake. I found in my years up north that advisories get used less as the winter goes on during snowy winters. The euro wants to flatten the pattern out for the lower 48 for 2 days and then a motherload of cold behind it. weatherbo
Have to say but I am a bit jealous. My wife & I would love to live up in that area up toward Petoskey. We go there several times in the winter ... Boyne!! Petoskey is a little too busy for my liking. For me, Antrim County is where it's at. Ellsworth is off the beaten path, and no "major roads", only county roads run thru here, and for the most part Summer tourist don't flock here like Charlevoix and Petoskey. Love Boyne, however!!! True Petoskey itself is pretty busy. Your area is VERY nice and does well with LES.

Sent from my HTC6435LVW We'll see how it goes. Like you I travel to the snow. We are planning our ski trips. If this cold continues I might do a Keweenaw trip this year. chances14
and I never get tired of it either! Hey dude! Haven't talked to you in ages! Moved here 15 months ago. I'm just 15 minutes from Torch Lake. Last Spring, it was one of the first 60 degree days and I took my boat out on Torch and in the center of the deepest part, the temp dropped to 44. One of the most beautiful and clear lakes I have ever seen! My grandparents live on torch river. We go up to torch lake every summer for the 4th of July. The sandbar on torch lake near the mouth of the river is party city during the 4th haha. It's by far the most beautiful lake I have ever seen
