i cant believe i am about to say this but thankgoodness we went above freezing over night!  went to bed it was about 30 with light icing and glazing.  the temp had started to rise so i didnt stay up after that.  woke up to 37 and a deluge - about 2" so far.  had that all fallen as ice it would have been a tree nightmare whew.

now had this been snow.... :devilsmiley:

No one likes a show off :)  I can't explain it, but looking down to the sw last night I saw lots of breaks in the cover, and that's what I've been getting....training breaks in the rain cover.  Since 1999 its the same.  Training rain holes, lol.  Except for the few grand Mole events.  Where oh where are the moles?  I suspect fowl play.  I've seen owls and hawks all year.  T

Almost had a sprinkle a while ago - still waiting on the 'heavy at times' - I know it's coming, but it's sure slow getting here. Got down to 32 early last night, but held at 37 most of the overnight;now up to 47.

Going to be fun to watch how this plays out, on radar you see the inland rain shield moving NE and then we have the SE flow showers coming in going to be quite a contrast later today, we have gone up a few degrees every obs for a while now and my brothers house 7 miles east of me is 10 degrees warmer than here.

This is a good ole fashioned gully washer. It just happens to be cold. Back yard is a river!

thats for sure.  looks like my back yard is one large drainage ditch lol.  its pouring again, 40* and 2.6" and counting

glad i am off work today and not out in this mess.  current forecast for tonight is 1" of rain a low of 32 lol.  i am sure 32.1 - high supposed to be 48.  so if the high is 8 degrees too cool how bout that low :devilsmiley:  (yes i am joking lol.  however it might be interesting at some point i HOPE)

I've managed to pick up close to .20 with these light showers that have found mby.  Currently it's 47 here, 60's just to my east and 30's just to my west

There is a solid 10 degree temp swing crossing my town right now lol, where I work its low to mid 50's by the airport on the NW side of town, over where I live in the SE side of town its in the low 60's, this boundry line has held for a while now as well temps steady the last few hrs.Suspect this warm air will surge inland once the low move up a little closer.
