We can't get rid of the -EPO....everytime it starts to break down, we see it come back with a vengence....if ensembles are correct, it doesn't look like any torch will be happening over the CONUS in the final 10 days of the month...probably the opposite.

In our backyards, we may still warm up briefly ahead of the next surge...that remains to be seen.

I would lock up that whole 12Z GFS run from today for up here............... :snowing:

Me too! I have been scared by this massive warmup models have been hinting at for next weekend. The weekend of the 21st I will be at a friends cabin in Jackson, NH for 3 days that weekend and hiking to Tucks. Rain would absolutely ruin that weekend, but it didn't seem feasible with the amount of cold. Nice to see this starting to break down.

Euro has almost completely lost the torch pre holiday..Down to maybe 1 mild up kind of day before hammer drops again.

There seems to be a signal of icestorm or snow along the arctic boundary on some of the longer range stuff. Let's see if we can rid ourselves of that mild day entirely

i like the snow on snow scenario at day 5

I thought today's Euro was pretty much a furnace for 48 hours out in lala land before the CF comes through.
