ravensrule
Even if we did flip the GFS is mid-30s+ most spots during the afternoon Wed. Good luck accumulating in those temps after 2" of rain. Weenie dream killer .

MN Transplant
Our insane model run for the day is the 4km WRF/ARW courtesy of NCEP, which keeps the precipitation frozen through mid-afternoon, with >0.5" QPF up through Leesburg. The 4km WRF-NMM on the other hand is pretty much a shutout for front-end frozen.

yoda
If we choose to accept the 12z GGEM precip maps (grasping for straws here), sleet and freezing rain for I95 and west till around 16z. Everybody goes to rain besides the mountain ridges in W MD by 19z... and no wintry precip after for anyone really

yoda
Loudon County Schools - 2 hour delay OPM - Liberal Leave They are token WWA's east of the BR... its really cause freezing rain/sleet is in the forecast zones, and I believe that requires them to issue a WWA

clskinsfan
My WWA is through 4pm tomorrow, thought I was to be in the 50s with rain? We know how often temps bust out here. Be surprised if we hit 40 tomorrow. ANd the GFS is really showing a decent thump of snow for us on Wednesday. Its going to be interesting to see if we can actually get a win on the back end.
