They obvi know winter weather better than we do down here

That's thanks to my boss... He/we do all the forecasts for what's called "District 8" which is Adams, Perry, Lancaster, York, Dauphin, Lebanaon, Franklin and Cumberland counties. His forecast is on track to verify this morning.

Still hanging at 30.7 with a DP of 29.7, light freezing rain. Had snow/sleet last night for about an hour after 1 am, just a bit more than a coating then it switched to the freezing rain. I'd guess looking at elevated objects and cars closing in on tenth of an inch of ice. Much warmer higher up, I saw a 44 reported at Bluefield, WV and its 36 up at the airport.

Heavy Snow tomorrow...............

................. or heavy disappointment.

Wonder which?

If you are getting your hopes up to the point of heavy disappointment, then shame on you, not the NAM. ;)

Temps finally fell a little.  Mostly 33/34 right now in the neighborhood instead of 35/36.  Not that it makes much difference.
