Oddly we've seen all the models at one time or another the last few days develop that follow up wave . You almost wonder if there's some validity to it. First one is milder and rains and 2nd maybe has enough cold air with it as front shifts east to get some areas into a little snows?

The problem is more the first low pressure. It doesn't make a lot of sense for wound up low center embedded in convection. I would expect the low to be just ahead of the main s/wv.

A quick whitening here at the Pit, but temp's ticking upward.  I wonder if this might be due to the compression Scott taught me about that takes place with the passage of a cold front.

30.5/21

If you just had a snow shower I assume the sublimationally cooled air is mixing out.

Damn brother enjoy. I am glad eyeball is getting hit hard (i think) he is probably nude halfway up bolton mtn

Yeah BTV down to 1/2 mile Moderate Snow now.  Probably some pretty decent rates for a quick period of time based on 30-40dbz echos.  Getting ready to take the dog on a walk in the squall.  :weenie:

Maybe--I don't know the dynamics of things.  But, I'm seeing all the central/eastern areas on the pdfamilly map have ticked up a bit too.

Nice burst going on now, temp just dropped 1.5* in the last 5 minutes. 29.1/25
