Ginx snewx
1/18/82 is the worst day of my nearly 67 years on a personal level. Unrelated to the ill fated flight ultimately ending up in the icy Potomac. oh **** yea I remember you telling me, sorry man to bring that up. Those squalls are insane in NY
CoastalWx
Sure there will be but without any strong confluence to the N there is nothing preventing the southerly air from rushing in. Sure a track over my azz may happen but it's not the difference between rain and snow, its the difference between 40 and rain and 55 and rain. Woopee!! I'll take a warm rain over a cold rain. Tknx. Yeah it will probably be relatively brief if it does happen.
CoastalWx
I've been trying to follow this discussion, and to be quite honest I'm lost. What are the chances ski country could get some snow out of this and what scenario would have to happen? I'll be traveling up to Sunapee for T-day and how are prospects looking there for snow? Rather bleak, but perhaps an inch or two on the backside if things work out. Nothing much more you can say with the variance still occurring on guidance. 40/70 Benchmark
Agreed...this can easily go up powderfreak's fanny or by over the BM...I'm starting to lean inland tho. I wouldn't be surprised to see a HVR.

You know I know how real it is. This is a Nov 1989 type Arctic invasion, hard hitting and deep cold. I would say as it stands right now The Greens and Adirondacks are the only places that might see snow but give things until Monday to shake out. LOL, Chuck on top of the mountain of ice, Forky waist deep. I am going to the Bills game on the 21st, hey maybe I luck out. I am game for a chase though. Lake Effect King George I am sure would point us to a bar with a hotel where we could get somewhat blitzed in a blizzard
