Those are the biggies. When the H5 trough sharpens like that and you already have a wave along the gulf....heavy heavy bombogenesis. It just gets fueled along the baroclinic zone just east of HSE.

It drops like 15mb in 6hrs after it's already 982 to begin with. Awesome. Like a white hurricane. Too bad we're still at d6-7. :arrowhead:

late 26th into early 27th

Not sure if there's any reasoning behind this other than gut, but...........

I'm always bothered by the "pushed back" scenario. Gut says that just opens the window for more things to go wrong (assuming, as we are now, that things are looking really good).

My wife asked me to tell her when I get to 30% confidence (she wants to deterimine if she should mail the gifts to people who are expect to drive up here on Sunday). What says the board? Do you go 30% yet?

How's the UK/GGEM with this?

Cool. Hopefully we don't have it trend SE. I'd be bummed to have a whiff. I'll take a HV runner over a whiff.

E-wall finally updated. Damn that's close to fun.

Let's be reasonable Mike. There are plenty of possible solutions in between those extremes. LOL

I like the sounds of a track between Hyanis and Boston.

Regardless, we are still 6 days out but at least a sizeable storm is showing up with some model consistency.

Wow! 968 east of CHH. ohmy.gifohmy.gifohmy.gif

Keep it!

…wind damage to sky scrapers, roofs blown off some structures and power outages for everyone –

Frankly, that’s too much for me kids. I hate it when the power goes out. Not fun. The novelty of it wears off in about 2 minutes when you realize that every amenity known to modern living depends on electricity. F that! I’ll take a 35mph blizzard and white-out as fine; I don’t need hurricane force wind gust in any snow fall, and if you are stupid enough to wish that on you get what you deserve.

no way, do I want to that bs. just keep it.
