WmsptWx
I'm currently in the lower end of Huntingdon county and here we had gotten maybe a dusting, if you want to call it that overnight into the morning and then it's been rain since around 9:30 ish. 36 right now. Mallow
ZR picking up a little here. Definitely a noticeable glaze out there. Sadly no thermometer but airport still reporting 30 degrees. Walker building still showing 31.1F http://climate.met.psu.edu/realtime/walker/walker.html Not moving much.

jm1220
Thanks for the link. Just bumped to 31.3. I think the temperature breaks over 32 during the next few hours and it goes to plain rain. There's no real mechanism to hold in/reinforce cold air, and heating from ice forming will slowly bump up the temperature. I was hoping the snow could hang on longer but the mid level WAA means business.

Hoping everything doesn't melt away and we can tack onto the snowpack on the backend

jm1220
Backend snow gone on the NAM. The main low has to organize in time and the upper air energy catch up to it so that snow can develop behind it. If that doesn't happen, the low will stay sheared out and it will be gone when the cold air returns.

Yorkpa25
5 mins of flurries this morning around 845 am then just rain, varying in intensity throughout the day. Temperature nearly steady between 33-34 degrees. Fingers crossed for a little snow to end the event. Happy for everyone who experienced snow this morning. Can't lie kinda jealous but win some lose some. Plenty of more oppurtunities this winter I'm sure.

MAG5035
Got some ice accums here but so far it's been pretty minor, but still somewhat noticeable on the pine trees. Got 30.7 on the handheld for the temp here. It's too bad Potter isn't still here, this would've been his storm way up in northern Potter County.
