Meanwhile, it's pretty much just everything here - BGM has the "expect anything up to and including frogs or so" forecast:

Rain before 10am, then rain and sleet between 10am and 3pm, then rain, snow, and sleet after 3pm. High near 38. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 12 to 17 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

kinda like this one I found in the past with locusts?... lol

I work at cameron and Elmerton and had 32 for high and had 31 when i got to Summerdale.

Wrong night for a furnace to go out at my 1 rental unit!

I bet that would be awful. A few years ago our furnace stopped working when it was below zero that night. Thankfully it was early enough in the evening to get it fixed. I don't think I have come close to being that cold ever again.

Was going to be off Wednesday but may take off Tuesday if schools close here. The commute and early holiday travel would make the morning rush to Baltimore hell, then driving rain and holiday travel would really make the 5:00pm rush a beast. Schools already left a message saying they may have to cancel a field trip so it would really not be worth going in if I had to turn around and go back to pick up due to closures. Dont want to spend 2 hrs on I 83 just to turn around and get nothing done regardless because schools let out after the fact.

I'd imagine those four counties are as tricky as northern Balt was for LWX. My forecast is for a mix bag and rain, WWA until 4pm tomorrow. Not expecting much in terms of wintry precip, just enough to make tomorrow's morning commute a pain in the arse.

They are very gun shy as far as advisories go for these counties. We have had events that have produced 6 inches in the past without any advisory yet Baltimore County had winter storm watches a day before then advisories. Our weather is Hereford Zone weather but maybe a degree or two colder due to elevation. Best to follow Lwx for this southern tier.

It doesn't help with us being in a radar hole of 4 radars.

It just looks silly to see a map of the eastern seaboard from Maine to South Carolina with only 8 counties not listed for any weather statement of any sort. 4 of them in Pennsylvania surrounded by close to 300 counties that have bulletins of some nature posted...

BGM always is crazy slow and conservative in putting up winter weather headlines around here.

Really wish AVP still had an NWS office...

Anyone ( more knowledgable then me) want to comment on the radar? Looks decent to me, filling in nice in the western part of state

If you look at the Pittsburgh radar you can see the classic hole extending about 50 miles out from the site. Nothing close to reaching the ground in PA yet.
