moneypitmike
I'm going to take a quick drive to 2100' and see if they got anything up there--or at least get a temp reading. I'll report back shortly. 28.1/16 edit: sun's out, nice blue sky.

ORH_wxman
His house got pummeled I think from his posts at the time. I think you are recalling another event...maybe 12/26/04? There were about a thousand of them down there that winter, lol. But that system was mostly rain there...I think ti changed to non-accumulating snow at the end, or maybe a slushy coating. dryslot
First snowman of the year, sizeable. Little ones are happy. used up all the snow in the front yard though, not easy making a 4' snowman in 1/2" of snow. Congrats, Scott (cweat, messanger, rollo and winston).......... Brian5671
Nice. Another SW CT winter I guess. LOL. We can only hope. We didnt do that well down here...I'd say .2 or so...maybe INLAND SW CT winter (which is under-rated for snow IMO) Ridgefield over to Monroe often does very well in storms

CapturedNature
An inch Definitely an inch in the NE Hills and I measured on a snow board, not grass. Temp is back below freezing after poping up for an hour or so around noon. 33° is going to be the high I think. 28° over in Union - been below freezing there all morning. Modfan
Looked like a coating east of the river. I didn't see any 1" pictures or reports up in NE CT. I had barely a dusting at home, as I drove Woodstock to Union that increased to maybe a 1/2-1 inch
Tropopause_Fold
I don't think the Cape got much of anything in that event. There was a pretty tight latitude gradient around Brockton/Marshfield yeah that event was rain on the Cape.
Tropopause_Fold
still a nice steady snow here. vis gets down to about 1/2 mile every so often and the wind is rippin pretty good so it looks more impressive.

I honestly can't think of a recent Nov event. There was an outer Cape OES event in '04 I believe.

I'll try to find a link. maybe cweat wasn't at his current location. it was ~90% liquid at the canal area. there was more just a ways up RT 3 though and back up 495. so if he was someplace else, he may have done OK. ORH_wxman
we had like a 1/4" on 11/19/08. I believe this is the best event for the Cape this early in the season since 1987. Its really hard to get measurable in the first half of November there. Impressive that even ACK is snowing steadily.
