CapturedNature
No snow in Springfield, coworkers report coatings in Blandford and Granville. I think this is a scenario where the hills east of the valley did better than the ones west of the valley. It's that time of year where I go from white to brown driving in and coworkers say "snow? what snow?".
HoarfrostHubb
i saw a youtube from Hubbardston of kids sledding that Noyes tweeted Looked like an inch I am doubting an inch...but maybe. A co-worker from town said it was still snowing pretty good there at 7AM. Wachusett got a half inch or so by the looks of the webcams
Clinch Leatherwood
I think the south coast..EWB etc are going to get a decent burst of snow in the next 2 hrs. Probably will be a good coating to half inch. Was just driving along 495/25 no accumulations aside of a slight trace. Radar Bark is worse than the bite. Bright banding but it's just show showers in high vis
HoarfrostHubb
Just saw the youtube video Blizz mentioned. I know the guy who posted it. He also sent Noyes a video of the old throwing a cup of hot water in the air to make it snow when -5F last season at my behest. Not sure if that is an inch... Also saw some pics showing snow on branches/berries, etc that could be an inch. And careful with the trolling. All serious now...

ORH_wxman
A virtual mid winter feel tomorrow. Dam that's cold. MAV has 33F at ORH, which is 1F above record low max for that date. MET has 39F at BOS, 3F above record low max set at the old site in 1874. Also 39F for PVD which is 2F above their record low max.

WInds do veer westerly in the aftn, but it's not a real downsloper and seems like mxing to 900mb or so. Not a deep mixing day.
