Looks like the rain/snow line is still a little north of Milwaukee over towards Dubuque.

Definitely snowing in MSN.

Here's the latest output from the IWX WRF (time-sensitive). Still insisting on an eastward placement of the band. Verbatim, northeastern Jasper county gets more snow than northeastern Porter county due to the curvature of the band. I can't think of any events off the top of my head where that has happened. I'm interested to see if it actually plays out like this.

I'm switching over right now. 35.6°.  :snowing:

Congrats.  Rain/snow line is really crashing south.  Still torching at 45 here lol.

DVN has a webcam page I didn't know about.  Have some cams in Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, Galena, and a bunch of others.  Looks like it's snowing pretty heavily in Galena at the moment.

Probably be closer to noon/12:30 before the air is down to freezing.

Camera SW of Milwaukee a good 20 miles down I-43.

Right the now the mix is coming in waves of intensity... the flakes start small then jump a little bigger and then get small again - rinse repeat that cycle.

Looks like LOT put accumulations back in. Let us know how long it takes to stick.

LOOK FOR LIGHT RAIN OVER FAR SOUTHERN WISCONSIN TO TURN OVER TO

LIGHT SNOW AS COLD FRONT MOVES SOUTH THROUGH THE REGION. THE LIGHT

ROCK...MADISON TO MILWAUKEE LINE...WITH THE LIGHT SNOW TAPERING

OFF EARLY IN THE AFTERNOON TO THE SOUTH. LOOK FOR LIGHT SLUSHY

ACCUMULATIONS ON GRASSY AREAS...THOUGH SOME LOCATIONS COULD SEE UP

TO ONE INCH OF SNOW.

A SHARP DROP IN TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE FRONT WILL CAUSE WET ROADS

UNTREATED ROADS WELL INTO THE AFTERNOON...EVEN AFTER THE SNOW HAS

ENDED.

Snow has started here in downtown Milwaukee. A dusting on the plants and greenery outside the museum.

Wow, no kidding!

Bigger flakes are trying to get going here. Should be able to get them on camera soon.

Bigger flakes are dominant here now.

Trying my hand at streaming/broadcasting from my front yard for the first "snow" event in Libertyville. I'm not far from Geos, and my conditions have mirrored his so far. The stream quality looks passable... hopefully this will come in handy as the cold season progresses and we get a real storm.
