KeenerWx
Roughly 2.5" of Lake Effect and 0.4" from yesterday's frontal passage. Not too shabby.

Jonger
We have to head up to Mecosta tomorrow to pick up a new sled, if there is enough we might drive the extra 75+ miles to play in that. I said something on APX facebook page about it, was surprised the graphic didn't mention that band. They are good at responding soon.

OHweather
Well the spotter 1 mile to my north reported 0.4"...and 2 miles to my SSE reported 1.5". Eyeball what's left looks closer to the lower end of things but probably a bit over half an inch. We'll go with 0.6" in Athens. I guess it's a start. Jonger
There was a Kalkaska report of 7 inches at 6AM, so they have to be approaching 9-10 right now.

Hoosier
Really thought that band was gonna set up farther west and clobber Porter county. Often times it would with that kind of low level flow pouring over the lake but kudos to the models that kept the best convergence east. Impressive early season event. michsnowfreak
Final snow totals here were 0.6" at DTX & ARB, 0.5" DTW, 0.4" MBY & FNT. Quite general throughout most of SE MI, and I suspect fully shaded areas will keep the thin white frosting today. The usual 2 lowballers have started the season off in style, T at Dearborn & M at Grosse Pointe (their constant lowballs and missing reports taint the season end snowmap DTX puts out). Thunder Road
A friend measured 1.9" on the snow board this morning, which included the 0.4" from yesterday afternoon. One of our profs lives in Hanna and she says she had around 8" (which jives well with a report Skilling shared of 7.4" from Wanatah). Another prof lives just east of town and said US 30 was a lot messier just a few miles east of Valpo. So we were really close, it seems.
