Pretty cool.

caviman2201
Eyewall appearing in the last few frames on the Cebu City radar: http://andrew.rsmas.miami.edu/bmcnoldy/tropics/haiyan13/Haiyan_8Nov13_CEB.gif
hawkeye_wx
It appears the inner eyewall is no longer complete. Haiyan probably maxed out this morning when microwave showed a only a single band of very intense convection surrounding the eye. It sure would've been nice to get some recon data. Drz1111
Perhaps, but not based on the radar - what you're observing is an attenuation artifact. LocoAko
Perhaps, but not based on the radar - what you're observing is an attenuation artifact. Do they use C or X band? I don't know anything about their radar system (and don't know where to look for that information).

Yellow Evan
Hiayan is off the charts amazing. The PTS has single-handily made 2013 a year to remember. I've never seen a storm like this ever.

dan11295
Radar shows slightly weaker convection in NW eyewall, IR shows a bit of warming too, likely due to northern eyewall passing over land. again doesn't mean too much at this point maybe 5-10 mph off. IR presentation is still incredible.
