Ian
whoa this dual shot of air might be as good as we've seen in nov at DCA at least. doubt we'll get the 29 high etc., but for duration. MOS currently unanimous at 35/24 for DCA tomorrow which would be coldest high since 1995 and coldest low since 2005. Though we need to get lower than 35 before midnight. snow.
yeah. mos might actually be too warm. knowing DCA it will be 40 at midnight. I'd say 50-50 chance of a counterfeit high 40-41 at midnight.

Ian
Pretty cool maps, do you have to pay for them or are they free? They're part of the model offerings for pay at wxbell. RTMA is a model reanalysis I guess. It's pretty good though.
ohleary
The thing I loved about Montana when I lived there was when it got cold it snowed, and when it was warm it was sunny. That's the opposite problem here. Ugh So here when it gets cold it is sunny and when it is warm it snows? In other news, the CONUS reflectivity is showing a beautiful lake effect signature across the lake states and New England.
