harrisale
Temps up to 61 here. Feels like May outside. Storm expected to drop to 972mb by 12Z tomorrow morning. The low was at 999mb at 12Z this morning = 27mb drop in 24 hrs. Lets see if this 'bomb' verifies. EDIT: Wind warnings raised along lake shores. Some rainfall warnings to the north. hm8
High wind watch for Semi Now going with a high wind warning for the north half and wind advisory for the south half.... Interesting choice. Personally I'd think the southern part would have a higher chance at seeing 50+mph winds, at least with storms/showers along the front due to (marginally) higher instability. harrisale
Winds really ripping now, next 2 hours will likely be the peak. Reports coming in of 100+ km/h gusts in some parts of Ontario, along the lake shores and St Catherine's area mostly. Top gust so far 107 km/h (66mph) at Port Colborne. YYZ reported an 85 km/h gust. 80,000 without power being reported by Hydro One, and they don't even service within the GTA.
