Albany: 24°, 1938

Bridgeport: 35°, 2000

Danbury: 32°, 1970

Islip: 34°, 1989

New York City:

...Central Park: 30°, 1880

...JFK: 35°, 1970

...LGA: 34°, 1956

Newark: 34°, 1938

Poughkeepsie: 32°, 1989

I think many of these fall as the majority of us stay in the upper 20s... mid 20s in the HV and northwest NJ.

NWS Upton

... SNOW SHOWERS WILL IMPACT BERGEN... ESSEX... FAIRFIELD... MIDDLESEX... NEW HAVEN... ORANGE... PASSAIC... PUTNAM... ROCKLAND AND WESTCHESTER COUNTIES...

AT 545 PM EST... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND NORTHEASTERN NEW JERSEY... MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH AND VISIBILITIES AS LOW AS 1 MILE ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE SNOW SHOWERS AS THEY TRAVERSE THE AREA THROUGH 7 PM.

MOTORISTS SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION TRAVELING THIS EVENING... AS LOCALLY WET ROADS AND TEMPS FALLING BELOW FREEZING MAY CREATE ICY SPOTS ON UNTREATED ROADWAYS.

Flurrying here for the past 15 minutes.

Since my weather is pretty similar to yours, your post prompted me to look out the window and lo and behold a few flakes flying in Port Jeff at 7 PM. Hope it bodes well for the next few months Ed.
