My front yard is pretty covered now. Wind last night, knocked a lot more down. Thought today would be sunny...it is not!

Cold temps last night have really caused the rate of leaves dropping to increase. Watching the maple in my backyard this morning, you could watch the leaves falling off the tree, a few per second.

Yeah got down to -5C at yyz last night despite a overnight forecast low of -1C..and -6C in my area in the suburbs...had quite the widespread frost this morning. Over 90% of trees now without leafs.

Wow, glad I checked this. I'm in Lisle just west of Oakbrook. I'm on the 8th floor of our building and just told a co-worker I thought the building was shaking. Glad I'm not going crazy. No one believed me.

I guess there was quite a few people in west Loop high-rises that felt it too.

Sun is coming out here now. Still really breezy out.

Update: It's been chalked up as a quarry blast in Countryside! How much TNT did they use!?

Skilling was showing quite a few 40s in his forecast, nothing over 57° I believe (which is for tomorrow). -RN has been moving through for the last hour about. Heaviest rain looks to come in between 2-8am.

High 56°
