Today's storm system really didn't impact this area so much.  Big severe popped just east, and high gradient winds developed east of here.  Also only 0.25" rain here today.  This makes the 2nd storm this fall where the high gradient winds didn't take shape until the storm pulled out of here.  Sucks to sort of miss out on the fun so to speak, but it is nice to have power tonight lol.

LES will probably happen with the 1052 mb high moving on down this weekend.

EURO says it doesn't get out of the 30s today.

Interesting situation in WI and parts of Iowa this Friday with rain/snow system.

It's 36F right now at MKE.  Didn't expect it to stay this chilly.  Temps the last couple days have underperformed.

Yeah the temperature is going no where fast. Approaching the peak heating time already. Last night the forecast was for mid 40s today, this morning it was about 43°. It will still fall short.

Skilling going with rain to snow Friday & snow showers Saturday. Could be worth a thread if trends are colder/further south.

November will almost certainly feature a negative departure and several clippers of varying intensity.

Winter starts early this year.

My local guess for the rest of November: KLAN -2.5F with 5 inches of snow

Gaylord could end up with a good 20+ inches this month.
