Yeah the 12Z EURO is pretty volitale ... up - down - up - down - up - big time down again.

Its going to be a very tame zonal pattern for 5 days and then back to below normal. The snowpack will prevent temps from getting out of the 30's this weekend locally.

Looks like some above normal temps for a couple of days.  After the deep freeze, I am kind of okay with that.  Looking down the road here  to see what might be in the offing.  Even with the coming thaw, and the possibility of rain, I am sure we will maintain most of the 12+ inches that are on the ground right now. 

 

Cold, and snow will be back before we know it.

I'm in the same camp as Alek.  For me, this storm kinda took it all out of me.  The impact here locally was 2x bigger than GHD due to the extreme cold, the duration, and the previous big snows on Wed/Thursday.  I moved here from Chardon, OH which is a classic LE jackpot zone, but cannot recall as much difficulty as this last storm.  It was truly epic.
