mitchnick
I haven't seen it that low in years lol. I know the Euro product looked good for you guys, but how does the MA look? too far south? thanks
CoastalWx
I know the Euro product looked good for you guys, but how does the MA look? too far south? thanks Well I'm just going by memory since I'm not near a laptop, but it wasn't as bad as the regular euro seasonal. With that -EPO and some help From a central based -NAO you guys probably could grab some snow. It might be Miller B like but it only takes a disturbance ejecting from the low heights south of the Aleutians to help you guys out. I think the DJF period had weak Gulf coast ridging. CoastalWx
You guys in Ma have it good. I will be at around 3.60-70 for my first fill up in a few weeks. I got a quote for 3.86 with 50 cents off the first fill and 15 centes off every gallon if I pay within 10 days. They offered a 2yr surface plan but thus where they get you. CoastalWx
Yup. 3.79 per gal There are a lot small oil places around here that are cheaper. The fuel gets unloaded and stored literally down the road so maybe that helps.
HoarfrostHubb
We do have downside protection where if their price is below what we paid (as it is now ) we get credits for next season.

I was doing a pre-buy here for a few years, but I figured out last year that they were really sticking it to people good so i changed companies. When I was in Stoughton I used Ruggiero Brothers. Oil was always cheap there, but it was a cash business, and you had to pay within 24 hours of the delivery, and you never knew when they'd show up. Eventually I switched to some company in Canton where I didn't have to do the pay right away deal.

Cold Miser
About 12 years ago we paid around $1 per gallon. I remember that. Was in Stoughton and I remember the cash price being 95 cents or something close to that.

OceanStWx
Nice. My dad sent me this shot from the camp in North Woodstock. That's the Woodstock Town Beach across the way. Looks like peak color down there. I already miss it up here. Try to hang onto those leaves as long as possible...it gets bland pretty quickly with views of brown fields leading to brown woods and that stick season look. But now I can cut some corners on the doglegs without worrying about those silly leaves getting in the way.

Would love to be able to do that at some point. I've been able to get the tour of the living quarters and obs tower, but obviously that pales in comparison to overnighting in mid winter. moneypitmike
I think we pay 3.48/gallon or some such thing. It's for water and about 25% of our heat. The remaining 75% comes from wood. That costs about me about 200 hours/year.
