gfs has the heavies south and west of dc area tomorrow, but decent amounts.  the air mass is not super markedly different just the storm is starting to kaput a bit as we go.

Including last night, I'm up to 4.16" for the past 3 days.

This is good; from the LWX disco this morning:

WITH MY MANY YRS HERE I`VE BEEN SEARCHING MY MENTAL DATABASE FOR
SYNOPTIC SITUATIONS LK THIS - THE CSTL LOW MOVED NO MORE THAN 100
MILES IN THE 24 HRS BTWN THU NGT AND FRI NGT. MOSTLY I THINK OF
SLOW MOVG NOR`EASTERS LK JAN 96 OR FEB 10. IT`S INTERESTING TO
NOTE THAT ALL 3 MAJOR AIRPORTS BROKE SINGLE DAY RAFL RECORDS...BWI
AND IAD MORE THAN TRIPLED THEIR PRVS RECORD...AND IAD SET DAILY
RECORDS 2 DAYS IN A ROW. WHILE WE HV ISSUED SOME FLD WRNGS IT`S
INTERESTING THAT THERE HAVEN`T BEEN MORE. THIS COULD BE A FUNCTION
OF A) HOW DRY THE GRND HAS BEEN/LOW WATER LVLS WERE AND B) THE FACT
THAT THE RA WAS MORE OF A STEADY MDT VARIETY THAN AN INTENSE 3 OR
4 HR BURST LK ONE WE HAD IN JUL WHICH CAUSED MORE WIDESPREAD FLDG.
