Timing and getting to MD are the biggest killers for me, but I do have an interest in going.

 

SNE usually has a pretty decent showing.  If we can get enough interest from members in our region I seriously think we should rent a bus and if needed we could always pick up others along the way as well.  If this would have interest I'd be more than happy to check into pricing and all that.

I think I know a certain reverend who wouldn't mind driving your bus.

 

I'm unlikely to be able to attend because my work schedule is going to be insane next year when I start residency. If it's at BWI again I'll probably be living in the area so maybe I can swing by to at least say hello.

Nice to see 81 votes for a yes, although it would be even better to see that number higher.  However, 73 did vote for depends so obviously many do have an interest in a conference.  Besides schedule conflicts/commitment, the biggest factor for not going is the cost (airfare/ hotel).  I know there have been scholarships held in the past to pay for the conference fee and (correct me if I'm wrong) but a portion of donation money went to that cause?  Anyways, what about holding some sort of donation drive or perhaps work something out to where something can be setup in which case money can be raised to help people with travel costs?

P.S.  I think I missed one year because of a scheduling conflict.  But I would toooootally come this summer (2014).  So we better be havin' it is all I'm sayin'.   :D

I didn't start attending conferences until the Providence one, then was there every year.  Agree with Paul...I really missed the conference last summer.  Seems quite a few folks have as well!!!  WOO HOO!!!  ;)

 

Yeah, even if we didn't have one next year...then whenever the next one is...you'd be feature as a presenter.

Excellent choice, Randy!!!  I just saw Josh's video (with the hub)...needless to say, stunning, scary, unbelievable.
