MidlothianWX
Precip distribution might look a little strange when all is said and done. As a friendly RIC met explained to me, it appears as though the coastal is moving a little quicker than the upper level low, causing the gap in the shield clearly seen on radar. Some of the best banding has set up N and NE of the city through Ashland and even up to Fredericksburg. I know this is almost cliche at this point, but I have to say I'm a little frustrated. The best snow set up 35 miles N and 35 miles SE of me...are you kidding? Richmond winter lives. Currently sitting with 1.3" and steady graupel falling... Inudaw
Getting stuck on the extreme south side of this band has been a bit irritating. lol Creeping my way close to 2". 1.8" currently.

MidlothianWX
Somewhere in the 2.25-2.5" range here. Temp is 14 with some of the most beautiful sugar on the ground that I have ever seen. I just broomed some of my driveway off in fact.
Portsmouth Weather
Still coming down hard here - really fine crystals. Up to 8 inches, but that back edge is approaching. Looks like a picked up about an inch and a quarter in the last hour.

SoCoWx
Snow ending here in Courtland. Probably around 5 or 6 inches. The storm is pulling away too fast. Oh well. One day we'll get that storm that rides up the coast at the right spot. Still been an okay event.
Portsmouth Weather
Snow still going (will end soon though). My last measurment of the night - 9 inches. Not too shabby.
MidlothianWX
Looks like 3-3.5" will be my total. I'll come up with a final amount depending on what nearby spotter reports say. This is easily the most sugar-like snow I've ever seen. What a cool storm to experience. Temps ranged from 12-14 during the entire event.

SeVa
Scene is similar here in Suffolk 8" with some drifts closing in on 2'. I don't have a yardstick to accurately measure but the drift in the image is almost up to the level of the 4th step. Not quite the 10-14" advertised but still significant by our standards. Inudaw
3" on the nose at my house. More actually to my north sense they were in the band that developed just to north and west of me last night.
JB Fins
Surprised at how much I ended up with here in Goochland, a little over 2". Just spent the last few hours sweeping and blowing neighbors driveways. If you have neighbors that are older or with health conditions and you are capable, lend them a hand. This snow is light and you can clear a driveway with a shop broom in minutes or backpack blower in less than 2 minutes.
