Kevin Druff
As they say in the DC/NoVa thread, February will be rockin'. I just moved out here in September so hopefully I didn't bring the bad luck. I think we have a couple more shots just the timing of the front suppressing the track for us this time. Since I moved out here in 2012, I have seen about 6 inches of snow. This used to be a favored spot for RIC metro. Imagine how I feel? I'm a few miles closer to it than ya'll and I have -SN and 1" ... annoying...

SeVa
I have my doubts of us reaching 10". Still, nice rates and 2.25" now. It's getting really hard to measure with the mini drifts.

SoCoWx
So, will there be any bands of heavier snow with larger flakes? Or is it going to be this fine powder all night because of how cold it is?

Doesn't feel like we will get a 10" event at this point. More like 5-7" but we will see. 30-35 dbz returns would be great. Right now it is mostly 20-25. Portsmouth Weather
Snow does look really fine, but its adding up. sitting a little over 4 inches and should have another 7 hours of moderate snow. I think it will end up being close to 10 - more if rates pick up.

SeVa
Just eyeballing it looks to be around 4-4.5". I am way too lazy to go out and check. That band to our south means business. Hope I can get in that band. Really want to see what kind of rates it is putting down.
