SeVa
In Suffolk?Yeah, in that last band that is now pushing through ORF. I am in far NE Suffolk, btw. This next band looks like it is going to stop moving NE and pivot through the south side.

Shadowzone
Providence Forge - 20 miles east of RIC - Powerful howling winds as this storm intensifies beautifully. Snow is getting heavier instead of ending. I do not want to go to bed and miss any of this very infrequent display, I've walked with the Big Dog at 5:30, 8:00 and 10:15 - let the Big Dog off leash for a romp at 10:15. All of our footprints and tracks have been obliterated.

NavyMatt
Very impressive storm so far - still coming down with a lot of blowing snow in the frequent strong gusts. Roads have long since been covered, can only make out the tips of the tallest blades of grass.

Inudaw
Airport seems like it will come in as one of the lowest readings area wide. Personally I'm at 2.5" of snow. after 8 hours from start to finish basically.
MidlothianWX
19.4, light snow, 2.0" Nice little event for the RIC area. I didn't think the ULL could get it done but the back building continued through the evening hours. Temps in the teens with SN is a cool experience, especially at this latitude. http://youtu.be/OxuSqZz6mEQ
Inudaw
What are some of the totals coming out of those bands to the south east in Williamsburg.. Hampton Roads and Norfolk areas? Those look more intense than anything Richmond got. LOL
D-Money
Been out enjoying this one. Wow. a great storm for our area. Radar still looks good for couple more hours.

Martin
for sure! This could be a 5 incher. Haven't seen amounts that high and measuring is really difficult with this wind. I think the higher amounts we have seen reported might be in places where snow has drifted a bit
D-Money
I think the city contracted some epic snow plows for this storm. Highways should be clean. But side roads will be an ice rink.
