Yep, just saw the sun coming out.

So, swing and a miss but I was only holding out hope for 1" as late as this morning.

I like having things to track but this weekend does not look favorable either.  I know climo is against DEC snow in RIC but hoping for an 09-10 redux.

nice to see the sun today. the frost today was unreal even with temps in the 40's at 1:30 I still saw frost on some rooftops. looks like ric will break 50" of precip this year only .38" more needed

I haven't seen you posting much...I was starting to get worried you lost an eye in your snow making machine

Lol been extremely busy and don't feel like wasting time tracking 10 minutes of ip and frz rain events. When a legit threat comes I'll be in regular form. I'm glad to see y'all got some snow.

Yeah, when I was out walking Bogey, noticed some ground still hard and frozen at 4PM, of course out of sun's reach. It had just been a while since I experienced that this early in the season.

Good snow making weather tonight.

RIC_WX (Anthony) is our Richmond historian so he would know for sure but I think this is correct.

One would think one of the larger events, like 1996, would have exceeded 14".  I believe the airport recorded 11".  I was living in Henrico off Gaskins Road and recorded 16".  Folks just to the north and west recorded 19".

I know where the airport was measuring was a point of contention and a windmill that RIC_WX was fighting to change.
