moneypitmike
Had a dead 3" branch come down on the driveway. That's probably as exciting as this will get up here.

weatherwiz
Actually what's weird about that gust is it blew me from behind...so it was coming from the east/northeast...unless winds are just getting funneled
CoastalWx
That cell ESE of Albany looked like it had an area of lower CC. I can't do a 4 panel comparison, but it looked that way. Might have been some inflow, but interesting.

Well I only could see it on radarscope so didn't want to sound like a weenie, but even that showed it. Wow.

OceanStWx
Bingo. That signature moved with the couplet, so definitely intrigued by it. LCI popped out in the warm sector. NE flow and 61, to SE and 72.
CT Rain
Ryan and I were just discussing that on NWSChat. That low CC moved with the couplet, could very well have been a TDS. Yeah CC was low but maybe not low enough? Generally 0.85-0.90 in the area with high enough Z. Given how collocated it was with the couplet for 2 volume scans it certainly could have been. powderfreak
LOL Anyways, maybe some moose blown off the rock cliffs again at Mt Mansfield. Moose flying every which way This is a pretty sweet regional radar with that pencil thin line entering all of New England...

CT Rain
Some of the low CC is in an area with very low reflectivity but there's a part of that low CC/ZDR area that's collocated with the couplet and sufficient Z.
powderfreak
Warm though for October 7th... almost 50F at MWN and 56F at Mansfield. MWN is 60G72, haha. I'm always envious of their winds.

HIPPYVALLEY
Severe Warning here now. That line in the Berks looks like it means business. Light to moderate rain. Went from 67F to 72F in about 20 minutes ahead of the rain. Had moderate to heavy pine needles coming down when the wind started.gusting. lol
weatherwiz
Been a persistent area of weak rotation in Litchfield county the past several scans
powderfreak
Man that was awesome... line just hit here in town. Gusts near 40mph (nothing close to severe but was concerned about losing power for a few moments with the Sox playing in 90 minutes, lol) but whiteout rainfall. Visibility had to get down to like 100 feet in rain/wind as the pencil thin line moved through. Now just steady, moderate rain and calm conditions behind the initial line.
