Things are starting to get out of control now...storm in Knox County is intensifying and has a TOR warning on it, and the cells N of OMA are finally really getting their acts together.

well, this is what we were all expecting on the models. let's just pray noone gets hurt in this. btw, 110-115 knots gtg.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A  

 

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...  

DAKOTA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...  

SOUTHERN DIXON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...  

 

* UNTIL 630 PM CDT  

 

* AT 546 PM CDT...A CONFIRMED LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO  

WAS LOCATED NEAR EMERSON...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.  

 

THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION.  

 

HAZARD...DAMAGING TORNADO.  

 

SOURCE...WEATHER SPOTTERS CONFIRMED TORNADO.  

 

IMPACT...YOU ARE IN A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION. MOBILE HOMES WILL  

BE DESTROYED. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO HOMES...BUSINESSES  

AND VEHICLES IS LIKELY AND COMPLETE DESTRUCTION POSSIBLE.  

FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DEADLY TO PEOPLE AND ANIMALS. EXPECT  

TREES TO BE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED.  

 

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...  

HUBBARD AROUND 610 PM CDT.  

JACKSON AROUND 615 PM CDT  

DAKOTA CITY AROUND 630 PM CDT.
